Awaken Sundays

Hosting an Awaken Sunday is a simple and effective way to talk to your Church about the event, we recommend taking five minutes out in your service for the pastor to personally share the importance of gathering and some information about Awaken, you can also share stories or interview members of the congregation with a testimony from a previous event.

Some tips for a great Awaken Sunday…

Make it special - The opportunity to gather in large numbers as followers of Jesus is something we get excited about, making your Awaken Sunday that little bit different is a great way to visually get the Church excited, why not hang some bunting or put up a tent at the back for kids to play in?
Keep it clear - We recommend you just share the key information and direct Church members to our website for more information
Media matters - Why not use our media pack slides in the background during your service? Or even better use some of your own photos or videos from previous events!
Experience excites - Notices are great, but stories are better! Try to keep your Awaken Sunday about past experiences and a taste of what people can look forward to at this event.

The dates for this year's Awaken Sundays are 26th January, 25th May and 27th July.

Awaken Ambassador

An ambassador is someone nominated from your church to represent and promote Awaken, it could be the Church Leader, or someone else as long as they are passionate about the event.

Ambassadors should proactively promote the event throughout the year and around discount deadlines as well as be on hand to answer questions and help people with their bookings.

What do Churches get for signing up?

We'd love you to support this initiative and as a thank you for signing your Church up you could be able to gain up to £300 in credit! These can be used on tickets, camping pitches and communal units for your church.

Small Group Notes

Ground Level have put together some small group notes for you to use and these can be done over one session or split in to two.

We think a great small group should be fun and engaging so we’ve included some ideas to break the ice and have a balance of content, social time and prayer.
